The Miss Piedmont Region Scholarship Program is an affiliate of the Miss Virginia and Miss America Scholarship Organization. The Miss America Organization, with its state and local affiliates, is the number one resource in the world for women to receive educational scholarships. In 2007, the Miss America Scholarship Organization made available over $45 million dollars to 12,000 women. It is the financial support of organizations, businesses and individuals.... from the smallest companies to the Fortune 500 companies... who make the $45 million dollars in scholarships available nationwide.
The Miss Piedmont Region Scholarship Program is a non-profit scholarship program whose purpose is awarding scholarships to deserving young women ages 17 to 24 years old and providing a forum for their community service. The program includes two additional scholarship competitions for Miss Teen (ages 13-17), and Miss Preteen (ages 10-12) Piedmont Region. We are happy to also announce the Princess Program that will represent (ages 4-9) in the Piedmont Region.
